Talki is a pair of video walkie talkies built for kids who want a phone and aren't getting one yet.

Press the button and your kid sees the other handset live on screen, face,backyard, treehouse, whatever they're pointing it at. No dialing. No contactslist. No passcode to forget.

There is no SIM card slot and no WiFi connection. The two handsets pair to each other and only to each other, straight out of the box. That means no data plan, no app, no account, and no way for anyone outside the box to reach your child.

Range is up to 400m in open outdoor space, less through walls and buildings. Battery runs about 2–2.5 hours of active use and charges by USB-C.

1. Charge both handsets with the included USB-C cable

2. Power on. They find each other automatically — already paired at the factory.

3. Press and hold the talk button. Your face goes to their screen, theirs to yours.

4. Release to listen.
